Valentine's Day Weekend is coming up

I love Valentine's Day. It's a celebration of love and friendship. When I lived in Madrid, I never got to celebrate this holiday. My friends always thought that it was either too commercial or too foreign. I never agreed. At home, we are all celebrating this year. My 4 year-old girl made a beautiful "gingerbread" house with strawberries (all pink, of course :) Then we made some truffles (chocolate milk and coconut).





My hubby is celebrating in his own way too. He is training for SD Rock N Roll Marathon



What's in the works for me? I'll be heading to LA for the International Yoga Asana Championship. *BIG smile on my face* I have been looking forward to this for a couple of months now. I can't wait. I was introduced to Bikram Yoga last year. Prior to that, I practiced yoga for 10 years but I've never heard of a yoga championship before. Since then I've been watching video after video after video. I have a looooong list of people I want to meet in this life. Many of them are going to be in the Westin LAX this weekend. I won't be able to make it to LA on Sat but I am very happy for Sunday. On Monday, I have a little surprise for my kids * another BIG smile on my face* Ohhh, I can't wait...but I MUST 'cause I still have 3 Bikram classes to go to before then. Today I am taking a new friend to class. Looking forward to it!!
